You Guys Look Like Shit uses film still motifs from Quentin Tarantino’s Death Proof as figures for the artist to insert themselves into family photographs from the past. Currently connecting more to the imagery in Death Proof than the photographs, but wanting to fully experience the nostalgia of the family history, the film still motifs are just as misplaced as the artist is in placing themselves in the composition.
